"House of Hope" |
I have had the honor of being in relationship with "House of Hope" in Nakuru, Kenya, approximately 125 miles north of Nairobi, since 1990. I was the first person from the U.S. to visit the ministry. The following year I brought my ministry friend, Rev. Barbara Mitchell. She and I have ministered together in many countries, and she has returned to Nakuru with me on several occasions. The "House of Hope" ministry, under the apostolic leadership of Bishop Macharia and the son's following in their father's footsteps, has grown from only a few churches to well over 500 by 2007. Meanwhile, God has answered our prayer to bring more people from the U.S., calling them to come "along side" this national ministry.
We brought a team of four on this trip, ministering at the 2nd Annual Women's Conference (we held the first conference in 2006), three crusades, and several Sunday services.
It was a powerful time of ministry with evidence of the Holy Spirit's activity in healing, restoration and salvation.
